Clusters organize companies around areas of activity and/or joint projects. Structured around sectors or based on a territorial anchorage, labeled as competitive hubs or not, the objective of a cluster is to combine the power of the “big” to the flexibility and expertise of the “small” in part of a network organization.
Clearly, a cluster and its members are able to gain considerable benefits from sharing practices and experiencecs from one entity to another and pooling part of their knowledge capital. The new possibilities opened up by digital technologies offer such opportunities and make it possible to increase the perceived level of services and to optimize processes.
